Corelight is an animated short sci-fi/fantasy story about creation of life, inspiration, balance, light, color and their opposites and the metaphors they all represent.

It's based on a original story that has been lurking in the back of my head for a few years, and that I have the need to tell in one form or another.

In a nutshell: the Jiivala are dying, and two of their last surviving members are looking for the lost secret way of creation, to try to save their race from extintion in the hands of the Andha, their relentless hunters.

Now with the collaboration of fellow artists Jon Ossitt and Guillermo Pérez Mogorron, I'm trying to convert all this into a animated short film.
It's going to be an adventure all the way through, but hopefully the process will be as entertaining and fulfilling as I hope the final piece will be.

At the moment, we're in the pre-production stage, designing characters, environments, props; We're also working in the visual narrative aspect, by means of animatics and storyboards.
